Members of Volunteering New Zealand are warmly invited to attend our 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Venue: Online via zoom.

Call for board nominations
The Volunteering New Zealand Board has opened the nomination process for two new members, including one to fill our:
- Māori board member
- 2 General board members
We warmly welcome nominations from across the motu. We are seeking to fill our Māori board member role, who may be nominated by their own community. We are also seeking nominations for two general member roles, who must be nominated by a member organisation.
We would ideally be looking for candidates with excellent governance experience, financial skills and Chartered Accountancy skills to fill our Treasurer role.
How to nominate
Nominations can be made by Volunteering New Zealand member organisations.
Should you wish to nominate yourself or someone else,nominees must submit:
• Volunteering New Zealand Board Nomination Form, and
• A one-page summary of the skills and experience that you would bring to the Board, and any other relevant information, and a square headshot of yourself.
Nominations close at 12:00 pm, Friday 9 October 2026.

Election voting process
If an election is required, Volunteering New Zealand member organisations will be invited to vote for their preferred nominees from 12 October. Results will be announced at our Annual General Meeting on Monday 2 November 2026.
