NVW-Supporting Community Conservation, Matairangi Trail Builders, Mt Victoria

Come and join us for a day of community conservation on Mt Victoria, Wellington. We will be supporting the incredible work of Matairangi Trail Builders, a group of dedicated volunteers who have been caring for and restoring the park. Conservation Volunteers New Zealand will provide all of the tools/equipment required including gloves and vests. We will also provide morning tea and refreshments. All you need to bring is a full water bottle and any additional snacks/lunch. Please wear: long sleeved clothing to protect yourself from cuts and scratches and insect stings/bites, a hat, waterproof jacket and sturdy, covered footwear are essential. Volunteers are welcome to meet our team onsite, or get a ride in our CVNZ van. We can transport up to 9 people, please contact our office at: wellington@cvnz.org.nz or call 021 057 1370 to check our availability as we have limited seats.
