Change of Officers and celebrating our volunteers
Our year ends 30/6/2026 so we have a lunch to celebrate our volunteers and welcome in the new board.
Celebrating Our Volunteers – Good Deed Group
The aim of this volunteering activity is to recognise and appreciate the contributions of members of the Good Deed Group by distributing “Thank You for Volunteering” cards provided by Volunteering New Zealand. This initiative celebrates the spirit of service, acknowledges the impact of volunteers within the community, and strengthens engagement by showing gratitude for their ongoing commitment to helping others.
A Shared Thank You
The Morrinsville Historical Society committee has traditionally hosted a luncheon to honour our dedicated volunteers. This year, we are delighted to expand this event to include all MHS members, allowing our broader membership to join in recognising and thanking our volunteers for their invaluable contributions.
